Your Excellency President Tinubu and Governors of the 36 States and 774 Local Government Areas, 240 million Nigerians are writing out of deep concern and frustration regarding the worsening flooding situation across Nigeria, including the recent submergence of Agbarho in Ughelli North LGA. Multiple credible reports confirm that heavy rainfall has devastated homes, shops, and major streets, leaving citizens counting losses and communities struggling to recover.

This is not an isolated incident. Flooding has become a recurring national disaster, and Nigerians are left wondering why these issues persist year after year for decades. It raises a critical question: What is being done with the tax money contributed by over 240 million Nigerians?240 million Nigerians deserve transparency, accountability, and visible results—not slogans, not photo opportunities, and not excuses.

Governance is a responsibility owed to 240 million Nigerians. Leaders are elected to serve, protect, and improve the lives of Nigerians. When incompetence or corruption prevents that duty from being fulfilled, resignation becomes the honorable path. No leader should forget that they work for 240 million Nigerians, not the other way around.

We urgently demand for:

Immediate and effective action to address flooding nationwide.

Transparent use of public funds for infrastructure, drainage systems, and disaster prevention.

Accountability for officials who fail to perform their duties.

A clear, honest action—without political spin—to prevent future disasters.

Nigerians are demanding real solutions. The time for action is now.
