🛡 Troops foil terror plot, evacuate 21 students in Borno

Nigerian troops under Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) have foiled an attempted terrorist infiltration of a military base in Borno State and evacuated 21 female students to safety.

The operation followed intelligence reports of a planned attack. Troops acted pre-emptively to secure the base and move the students out of harm's way.

Borno State remains a key theatre of operations against insurgents in Nigeria's northeast.
