Nigerian Entrepreneurs Turn to UK's No-Investment Visa Route to Build Businesses Abroad

A growing number of Nigerian entrepreneurs are pursuing a UK immigration route that lets them launch businesses in Britain without a minimum investment or a job offer, according to founders exploring the option.

The route, known as the Innovator Founder visa, replaced the UK's Innovator and Start-up visa categories in 2023 and is aimed at entrepreneurs with an idea judged new, innovative, viable and scalable.
