8. Old Oyo National Park – Oyo State
Although less famous than many wildlife destinations, this park offers rich biodiversity, hiking opportunities, historical ruins, and a chance to experience Nigeria's natural beauty away from crowded tourist spots.

Old Oyo National Park is one of Nigeria's largest and most historically significant national parks, spanning about 2,512 km² across northern Oyo State and parts of southern Kwara State. It is named after the ruins of Oyo-Ile, the ancient capital of the Oyo Empire.
