We hear it all the time:

"I want to invest, but I barely have enough to survive."

And the truth is, for many people, that's not an excuse... it's their reality.

When your income is consumed by rent, food, transport, school fees, and unexpected bills, investing can feel like a luxury reserved for the wealthy. It's hard to think about tomorrow when today is already demanding everything you have.

If this is where you are, don't lose hope.

Wealth is not built by pretending your struggles don't exist. It is built by acknowledging them and taking deliberate steps to change your financial story.

Sometimes the first investment isn't in the stock market or real estate. It's in increasing your earning capacity. Learning a valuable skill. Starting a small side business. Managing your expenses better. Creating a small emergency fund. Positioning yourself for better opportunities.

As your income grows, your ability to invest grows too.

Never compare your chapter one with someone else's chapter twenty. Every successful investor once had a first investment, no matter how small.

If all you can save today is a little, start there. If you cannot save yet, focus on building the income that will make investing possible. Progress is still progress.

Your current income may limit your options, but it does not have to define your future.

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep preparing.

The goal is not just to earn a living, it is to build a life where your money begins to work for you.

We hear it all the time:

"I want to invest, but I barely have enough to survive."

And the truth is...
