To our brothers…not using deodorant is not a sign of spirituality.

Please, don’t approach a sister with body odor or bad breath and call it “spirituality.” Neglecting personal hygiene is not a mark of holiness.

Cleanliness and godliness can go together. Taking your hygiene seriously shows respect for yourself, consideration for others, and reflects good personal discipline.

Be spiritually minded, but don’t neglect basic hygiene. A clean heart and a clean body are not in competition.
