Onanuga’s personal attack on Peter Obi is unacceptable, unintelligent, and unbecoming of someone occupying a public communications office. A presidential spokesman should focus on educating Nigerians, and the wider public, on why the country needs President Tinubu, what his administration has achieved, and what it intends to accomplish. And why he should not retired.
Instead, Onanuga chose to recite Obi’s life history from birth to the present, a diversion that adds no value to national discourse. It is unnecessary, unprofessional, and ultimately reinforces the very failures Obi highlighted in his interview. A competent spokesman responds with facts, policy clarity, and national vision and not personal insults. This is a clear indication that the president surrendered himself with failure
