@Ojyokpe Students should never have to risk their lives simply by living in a hostel. If negligence contributed to the collapse, everyone responsible, from contractors to supervising officials, should be held accountable. Beyond this incident, Nigeria needs stricter enforcement of building standards, regular structural inspections of student accommodation, and transparent publication of investigation findings. The real measure of justice is not just responding to one collapse but preventing the next one.
