"I sincerely believe it's illogical for supporters of a president who hasn't held a single media chat in over three years of presidency to be scoring an opposition presidential candidate's media performance.

"You can't criticise someone's performance on a stage your own candidate refused to step onto.

"When people say, "Mr. XYZ's media performance was poor," that's a relative assessment. The obvious question is: Poor compared to whom? If your preferred candidate hasn't granted a comparable media interview, then what exactly is the benchmark?

"You can't compare a performance to an absence."
