ONLY ONE SOURCE

John 3:27 KJV
John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

One of the reasons people become so proud is when they don’t understand how they become successful or get to the position they found themselves in. So many people arrogate to themselves the power to make things work, forgetting that no one can make things work by themselves. It is impossible for any man to produce results by himself without the help of another man. Such has never been done and will never be. This is why no man can give birth to himself or create himself. You will at least come to this world through the help of someone and also be raised from a baby to maturity by someone. This alone tells you how impossible it is to have a self made man. Humility suggests that a man understands these facts about life.
When John the Baptist was confronted by the people concerning the anointing of Jesus, his response was that no man can do any spectacular thing without the involvement of God. He categorically said that no man can have anything except it is given by God. This shows that no matter how you feel or think, all you have as possessions or virtues were all given to you by God. Some people have done the same thing you are doing without any result because opportunity and chance did not favor them. In fact, there are so many that did or invested more than you do in what they are doing yet their results cannot be compared to yours in any form.
Ecclesiastes 9:11 KJV
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
This is why all that you need to do is to be grateful to God for whatever you have achieved in life. It all came from Him. As little as the oxygen that keeps you alive is, God provided it and without it, you won't even have the life to do what you are doing. This should humble any reasonable person to be grateful to God. No man came to this world with anything. We all met everything here on earth. So it is what God kept on earth that we use for whatever we do today. Do not be deceived by anyone claiming technological super power. Many of them have died without the technology saving them. If they cannot stop themselves from dying, it means their ability is limited. Learn humility and be grateful to God for all you have.

Prayers
1. Lord, I receive grace to be conscious that You are the source of everything I have.
2. Father, I refuse to be manipulated by pride.
