WHAT WAS SEUN UP FOR?
A recent question on Channels TV asking if an Igboman can be trusted is highly inflammatory, fueling national distrust, hatred, and division. Such tribal rhetoric has no place on national television, and an apology to the nation is necessary. Nigeria's unity is sacrosanct, requiring collective responsibility to succeed.
Fortunately, leadership under the current administration reflects inclusivity rather than hatred, evidenced by the numerous appointments of Igbo individuals to key positions.
True peace and national progress will only be achieved when Nigerians completely reject divisive tribal and religious narratives.
We must stand together, celebrate our diversity, and actively work toward a united, harmonious country for all.
