Ex-footballer, businessman jailed for cocaine trafficking

The federal high court in Lagos has convicted Segun George Hunkarin, a former international footballer, and Ntoruka Emmanuel Chinedu, his business partner, for smuggling cocaine into Nigeria from Ethiopia.

Musa Kakaki, the presiding judge, handed down the sentences after finding the duo guilty of unlawfully importing 7.050 kilogrammes of cocaine into the country from Ethiopia.
