🇳🇬 Hostel collapses at Oko Polytechnic, students trapped

A multi-storey hostel building collapsed on Sunday night, July 27, 2026, at Federal Polytechnic, Oko, in Anambra State's Orumba North Local Government Area, with students inside at the time.

Residents reported hearing a loud noise before the building went down. Rescue operations were ongoing as of initial reports, with casualty figures still unconfirmed.
