✍️ Chelsea in advanced talks to sign Danny Welbeck from Brighton

Chelsea are in advanced negotiations to sign Brighton striker Danny Welbeck, with manager Xabi Alonso reportedly keen on the 35-year-old's leadership qualities and experience.

According to the Daily Mail, the Blues are looking to move quickly, with Welbeck said to be open to a switch to Stamford Bridge. The veteran forward has less than a year remaining on his current Brighton contract, making a deal increasingly viable. A move would also see Welbeck reunite with former Brighton teammate Joao Pedro at Chelsea.
