Politics in Rivers is heating up again.

Supporters of Nyesom Wike and Rotimi Amaechi are now clashing over the control of the ADC in Rivers State after restrictions on political gatherings sparked fresh tension. While the council chairman says the directive is about security, the ADC insists it's an attack on democracy and political freedom.

Here's the question:

Should any local government chairman have the power to decide which political party can gather?

Or is security more important than unrestricted political meetings?
