THREE-STOREY BUILDING COLLAPSE IN ANAMBRA

Rescue operation ongoing at the collapsed three-storey students hostel in federal polytechnic in Anambra State.

The private students hostel is reported to be dominated by students of the federal polytechni, Oko in Anambra State.

The hostel which collapsed at about 11 pm Sunday, a time school academic session is not in full session.

Some students were said to have escaped without injury before the collapse, a few others are still trapped.

The Nigerian Police Operatives, emergency management responders including fire service personnel are on ground.

Number of casualties yet to be ascertained as some rescued students have been rushed to the hospital.
