Since this issue began, I have repeatedly sought a response. A year after submitting my first letter to the EFCC requesting the outcome of its investigation, I received no reply. This year, I wrote again asking for an update, but there was still no response. I also wrote to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), asking the office to follow up with the EFCC since I was appointed through it. In addition, I wrote to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and the President, all before issuing my open letter, because no one seemed willing to respond.
