Maybe I'm in the minority, but I've never understood the hype around Big Brother Naija. Every year, it dominates conversations and trends for weeks and keeps millions glued to their screens. If people enjoy it, that's their choice, but personally, I've always struggled to see the value it adds beyond entertainment.

What amazes me even more is the level of sponsorship and investment it attracts. In a country where many schools lack basic facilities, students struggle with funding, and young innovators are searching for support, it's hard not to wonder why so much money flows so easily into reality TV while education and talent development continue to fight for attention.

Before anyone comes for me, I'm not saying entertainment is bad. We all need a break from Nigeria's daily wahala. I just wish we showed the same level of excitement, funding, and national attention to initiatives that equip young people with skills, create opportunities, and move the country forward. Maybe that's just me.🤷‍♂️
