THE OLD DRUMMER'S LAST WARNING ⚠️

In a quiet African village lived an old drummer named Baba Kofi.
For over 50 years, his talking drum announced every important event—births, weddings, festivals, and even danger.
As he grew old, the villagers laughed at him.
"Your time has passed," the young men said. "We have phones now. We don't need drums."
Baba Kofi smiled but said nothing.
One evening, while returning from the forest, Baba Kofi noticed thick smoke rising beyond the hills.
He immediately began beating his talking drum—the ancient warning rhythm everyone knew.
Boom... Boom... Boom...
But nobody came.
Instead, many laughed.
"Look at the old man making noise again."
Some even recorded him to mock him.
Minutes later...
The fire reached the village.
People ran in every direction.
Homes burned.
Animals escaped.
Families lost everything.
When the fire was finally stopped, the village chief gathered everyone.
With tears in his eyes, he said:
"The problem wasn't that the old man beat the drum...
The problem was that we stopped listening."
That night, every young person walked to Baba Kofi's house.
They knelt before him and asked for forgiveness.
The old drummer looked at them and said:
"Wisdom does not become useless because it grows old."
From that day forward, the village listened before it laughed.
And they never ignored the sound of the drum again.

Never ignore wisdom simply because it comes from someone older. Experience often sees danger before youth does.
