Victor Boniface delivered an impressive cameo as Bayer Leverkusen recorded a convincing 3-1 win in their second pre-season friendly ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The Super Eagles striker was introduced at the start of the second half and wasted little time making an impact, setting up one of Leverkusen’s goals with a well-timed assist as the German side maintained their winning rhythm.

Nathan Tella also featured for the Bundesliga club, starting the encounter before making way at half-time after a solid 46-minute display.

With the new campaign drawing closer, both Nigerian stars will be eager to earn regular minutes and carry their fine form into the competitive season.
