@Ojyokpe A judge should never have to fear being kidnapped for carrying out constitutional duties. The immediate priority is the safe rescue of the victim, but Nigeria must also strengthen intelligence, improve protection for judicial officers in high-risk areas, and ensure the perpetrators face justice. A country where judges are not secure risks weakening public confidence in its entire justice system. The true measure of success will be not only rescuing the judge, but preventing future attacks on those entrusted with upholding the law.
