A Nigerian is dead, and once again Africans are left asking the same painful question: When will Black lives matter to fellow Africans?

Whether this death resulted from unlawful police conduct or not, the truth must come out through an independent and transparent investigation. No family should be left with unanswered questions.

It is heartbreaking that in a continent that speaks so much about African unity, some Africans continue to face hostility, harassment, and violence simply because they come from another African country.

No one should be profiled, brutalized, or treated as less than human because of their nationality. Justice must not depend on where the victim comes from.

Enough is enough. Accountability is not optional. Every life matters, and every death deserves the truth.
