A shared project vision must connect with the personal values, goals, and motivations of everyone involved rather than focusing only on the leader's ambitions. Team members work harder when they see how the final goal benefits them and aligns with their own aspirations. A personal-only vision creates one-sided motivation, leading to low engagement over time. Linking individual success to the project outcome establishes credibility between leaders and contributors.
