German authorities say the suspect in the deadly van-and-machete attack near Berlin’s Pride festival is believed to have acted out of Islamist extremism and remains at large.

The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Abdul Ballout, allegedly had ties to Germany’s Islamist scene. One person was killed and at least 29 others were injured.
