Tinubu exploiting opposition's disarray to retain power, says public affairs analyst

Olarinre Salako, a political affairs commentator and public affairs analyst, says President Bola Tinubu is consolidating political power in a manner that weakens opposition and threatens Nigeria’s democratic development.

Speaking during an interview with Rudolf Okonkwo on 90MinutesAfrica, Salako said though Tinubu has a long history as a pro-democracy activist, his actions in office appear inconsistent with those democratic credentials.
