I visited The Olsztyn Castle ruins. a 14th-century medieval fortress built on a high limestone hill in Poland. King Casimir III the Great expanded the site to guard the western border.

It suffered severe damage and burning when captured by the Swedes in 1655 during the Deluge, turning it into the scenic ruin seen today
