The biggest mistake people make after deciding to move on is continuing to look back, checking their status posting things, hoping they notice secretly wishing they will suddenly realize your value after losing you, replaying old memories every night and waiting for an apology that may never come. But, you know, real healing begins. The moment your piece is no longer connected to their attention validation or present. I know it hurts and I know some nights feel heavier than others, but time really does heal what constant attachment keeps reopening and slowly you begin to feel lighter and peaceful again, not because you stop loving them overnight, but because you finally realize that holding on to someone who keeps hurting you only keeps hurting yourself too.
