TETFund, Israel Partner To Rescue Stalled University Research, Push Campus Inventions Toward Commercial Success

The Federal Government, through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), has entered a partnership with Israel to channel fresh funding, mentorship and international expertise into converting Nigerian university research into viable businesses, addressing longstanding concerns that much of the country's academic innovation never leaves the shelf.

The renewed partnership was announced in Abuja, where Israel confirmed funding for the fifth edition of the Innovation Fellowship for Aspiring Inventors and Researchers (iFAIR 5).
