My face when I found out the power bank I confidently left the house with was just for moral support. ππ
Hubby had been away for about a month and left his power bank for me to use whenever I was heading out.
He got back this morning with a brand-new one. By pure coincidence, the new one also ended up in the car as he dropped the kids and me off at their school graduation.
I settled into the hall, reached for my phone (which was hanging on for dear life π©), plugged it into the power bank...
Nothing.
Me: "Sweet, the power bank isn't charging my phone."
Hubby: "Is it charged?"
Me (with unnecessary confidence): "Of course! I charged it the other day." π
Convinced the power bank had suddenly developed a fault, I called him.
The poor man actually drove back to the venue.
He took one look at it, pressed the power button...
0%.
No speech.
No lecture.
Just one slow nod.
Then he quietly handed me the new power bank, gave me that look that said, "This is why I ask questions," and walked away. π€£π€£
So today, I made my husband drive back to the venue... because I forgot to charge a power bank. ππ
Turns out I had been carrying an emotional support power bank.
It wasn't charging phones.
It was charging my confidence. π€£π€£π

At least your confidence was fully charged π―π
An amazing hubby.
That's the story of the other side of Power Bank
Next time, charge both confidence and power bank to avoid asking questions π
