Troops of the 149 Battalion discovered this command-wire improvised explosive device (IED) buried beneath a road in Kanguri village, Borno State, while escorting a Mine Risk Group (MRG) team from Maiduguri. The team was en route to recover two trucks that had been damaged in an earlier IED blast.
