Parenting is 50% intentional training and 50% raw grace.
As parents, we can pour in all the wisdom, discipline, love, and guidance in the world, but the truth remains, we cannot force a child's heart to absorb it. We’ve all seen good parents who did everything right, yet their hearts break over a wayward child.
That’s why our greatest tool as parents isn't just our advice, it’s our prayers.
Let it be your daily petition “Lord, let the grace to receive, internalize, and walk in godly guidance accompany my children everywhere they go.
May our labor over our children never be in vain, and may this journey be a fulfilling, joyful one for us all.

Reality Check ✅: I'm not a parent and I have not co-parented anyone before but I totally understand that you can only take a horse 🐴 to the river, you can't force it to drink water. Have you asked why children of good people normally differ?
Obafemi EMILOLA, FIMC, CMC®: A very big AMEN to your prayers.
As parents, we must cultivate the habit of praying for our children.
Many of us did not have the privilege of growing up with parents who consistently prayed over us.
Our prayers won't just shape their lives, it will also help them become greater than we are.
