Why shouldn't you hold your urine for too long?
Many people do this because they're busy, traveling, or simply don't want to use a public restroom. But making it a habit can cause problems.
Holding your urine for long periods may: 🚻 Increase your risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs). 🚻 Stretch the bladder over time, making it harder to empty completely. 🚻 Cause discomfort or pain in the lower abdomen.
💡 Healthy habit: When you feel the urge to urinate, try not to delay it for too long. Your bladder is designed to empty regularly.
