💼 BUA Cement profit jumps 79% to N384bn in H1 2026

BUA Cement Plc has posted a profit before tax of N324.4 billion for the first half of 2026, a 79% year-on-year increase, according to its unaudited H1 financial statements for the period ended June 30, 2026.

The company recorded a net foreign exchange gain of N16.57 billion in H1 2026, a sharp reversal from N782.8 million in the same period last year and a N9.70 billion forex loss for the full 2025 financial year. The improved forex position contributed to the strong earnings performance.
