Meditative Prayer: Saturday 25th JULY 2026

“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.”
Ecclesiastes 3:11

Dear Lord, You have set eternity in the hearts of all mankind. We are but a mist that appears for a little time and then disappears, yet You remain ever faithful. In this fleeting life, You provide us with moments of joy and sorrow, as well as laughter and sighing. We bear the burden of mortality with grace and understanding, for You have promised a hope that will never fade.

May we look to You in this life, trusting in Your unfailing love and tender mercy. On the days we feel weak and faithless, remind us of Your good works and compassionate deeds. Help us to remember that even though our life is brief, it has worth and meaning, and that You have given us a purpose to fulfill. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
