A Lesson I Didn't Expect

Sometime ago, I missed an opportunity. At the time, I was convinced it was a major setback. I questioned my preparation, replayed every decision, and wondered what I could have done differently.

Months later, I got another opportunity. This time, I realized I had grown in ways I hadn't noticed. I was more confident, more skilled, and far better prepared than I had been before. Looking back, I understood that if the first door had opened, I might not have been ready to walk through it.

That experience taught me that sometimes, delay might be life giving you time to become the person your next opportunity requires. So, keep preparing. Your timing may be different from your expectations, but growth is never wasted.
