Experience is the best teacher."
I respectfully disagree.

This is my thought.
Experience alone is not the best teacher. What you choose to learn, unlearn, and do after the experience is what truly teaches you.
Many people go through the same painful experiences, yet they end up with completely different lives. One becomes wiser, stronger, and more resilient. Another remains bitter, angry, and repeats the same mistakes. The difference is not the experience. The difference is the lesson they extracted from it.
Pain does not automatically produce wisdom. Failure does not automatically create success. Rejection does not automatically build character. If that were true, everyone who suffered would become wise.
An experience is simply an event. Reflection gives it meaning. Action gives it value. Change gives it purpose.

Don't glorify your scars. Glorify the lessons your scars taught you. Your greatest asset is not what happened to you, but what you became because of it.
Experience presents the examination, but your response determines whether you graduate or repeat the class.

That is it there!
DRIP KAMSTAR: Fact
CSO intl: Experience has it way of helping in the future, but everyone should go for knowledge and not experience
David Onyedikachi: Experience is truly the best teacher
Gladden Ngozi: Fair point, but wouldn't you say experience forces some lessons that reflection alone never could? Pain gets your attention in ways theory never will. Maybe the best teacher is experience + reflection—not one without the other.
