STARTRADER REFURBISHES UNILAG
BASKETBALL COURT

In a bid to promote togetherness, encourage healthy living, and provide students with an avenue to unwind from the rigours of academic life, a basketball court at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, has been refurbished and rebranded.

The project, undertaken by Startrader, features a new sports-grade flooring, upgraded hoop nets, refurbished rings and backboards, as well as improved seating for players and coaches.

The facility was commissioned following an initiative facilitated by the KB Klub of the College.
Speaking at the event, Africa Representative of Startrader, Anastasius Malizu, said the project goes beyond the physical refurbishment of the court, describing it as a demonstration of the firm's commitment to supporting institutions and the communities they serve over the long term.

The Provost of the College, Professor Ademola Ayodele Oremosu, expressed appreciation to Startrader for the gesture, while encouraging students to make good use of the upgraded facility.

The refurbishment is expected to provide students with a better environment to stay active, build stronger connections, and enjoy a healthy balance between academic and social life.
