Son Heung-min scored his first MLS goal of the season for his team, Los Angeles Football Club, shaking off his World Cup pain during the 16th round 'LA Derby', against LA Galaxy held at Dignity Health Sports Park in California.

Son Heung-min scored in the 76th-minute. The Korean superstar credits LAFC support for World Cup recovery.

He said, "When you experience poor results with the national team, you want to return to your club as soon as possible. This is because I truly love football," adding, "When I feel good emotions like today, the painful memories gradually fade."

He did not hide his satisfaction with his life at LAFC.

Son Heung-min said, "There are good teammates and a coach here. Coach Dos Santos respects me and gives me a lot of confidence," and with a smile, added, "I’ve had many conversations with the coach, and being with such a coach makes me want to return to the team as soon as possible."
