I am compelled to address this matter of significant concern regarding the recent directive from the Inspector-General of Police, which permits officers to shoot individuals found with illegal firearms. Such an order is not only alarming but also constitutes a grave breach of legal and ethical standards expected from someone in his esteemed position.

The principle of rule of law is foundational to our society, and it is disheartening to witness its erosion through such drastic measures. The implications of this directive are profound; it reflects a troubling trend within our political landscape where high-ranking officials resort to violence rather than seeking constructive solutions.
