🏆 CAS Sets October 8 Hearing Date for AFCON 2025 Title Dispute

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has confirmed October 8 as the date for the hearing that could determine the rightful winners of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) is appealing a CAF Appeals Board ruling from March 17, 2026, which reversed the outcome of the chaotic AFCON final between Senegal and Morocco. Senegal had won the match 1-0 but subsequently lost the title following CAF's decision. The October 8 hearing will now determine whether Senegal reclaims the trophy or Morocco retains it.
