A Hong Kong court just sentenced a 26 year old British woman to six years in prison.

She made a ra¥pe allegation against a British banker.
She tried to turn it into a payday.
The court saw straight through it.

Isabel Rose flew from London to Hong Kong in January 2024 to see a man she met while travelling in Thailand.
One night at his place.
The next day she was accusing him of ra£pe. He got arrested.
His name entered the system.
His life, as he knew it, ended right there.
The court found the encounter was consensual.
Then the messages came out.
She first asked him for £5,000.
Days later that amount jumped to £100,000 She said, pay up or she goes to the police.

The judge did not sugarcoat anything.
She called the man "honest, credible and reliable."
She called Rose "dishonest, uncredible and unreliable."
She was sentenced to five years for blackmail and three years for perverting the course of justice.
She will serve six years total, in Hong Kong's toughest women's prison.

Rose is still saying she told the truth.
Still saying the compensation was his idea, not hers.
The court did not buy one word of it.

Let's sit with the man's side of this for a second.
