I saw a post recently by @Gyang that said something like: "Not every storm is set to destroy, they are usually set to restore." That line sent me on a journey of reflection, and I felt led to share my story.
Growing up, I learned that after my elder sister's birth, my parents faced a long delay in conceiving again. So they turned to a traditional spiritualist for help. Certain steps were taken, and soon after, I was conceived. By that account, one could argue my very existence was tied to those spiritual powers.
But God is a covenant-conscious Father.
Years later, I survived a horrific accident that claimed the lives of everyone else on a 14-seater bus. I was comatose for a long time, and it was during that resuscitation journey that I met Christ Jesus ; a real, life-changing encounter with love personified. For anyone who wonders: Jesus is real, and His love is beyond words.
To my family, that accident was a disaster. To me, it was how God severed any legitimate claim those spiritual powers had on my life. I died, and He gave me a new one.
That storm wasn't destruction. It was restoration.
IS THERE ANYONE WITH A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE, abi na only me waka come☺️ ❓
