Germany has launched a new programme to support Nigeria in reducing gas flaring by identifying commercially viable uses for associated natural gas that is currently wasted.

By supporting the commercialisation of associated gas, the programme aims to reduce emissions while improving the utilisation of Nigeria's abundant natural gas resources.
