Team Nigeria's Para-Powerlifters Chase First Medals of Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

Six Nigerian para-powerlifters step onto the platform this morning at the SEC Armadillo, Hydro Stadium, in a bid to deliver the country's first medals of the 2026 Commonwealth Games on the opening day of competition in Glasgow, Scotland.

Two-time Paralympic champion Folashade Oluwafemiayo will lead the charge in the women's heavyweight category.
