**The hardest part of an interview isn't always the interview itself. It's the waiting.**
If you've ever reached the final stage of an interview, you'll understand what I mean.
Your phone rings, and your heart skips a beat. You refresh your email more times than you can count. Every unknown number feels like *"This could be it."* Every passing day without feedback makes you wonder if you said the wrong thing or if someone else got the job.
I've been there more than once. I feel I should share; maybe it will cheer someone up. Over time, I've learned that while I can't control the outcome, I can control how I respond to the waiting.
Here are a few things that helped me to navigate that phase of job hunting:

1. I remind myself that getting to the final stage is already an achievement. It means someone saw value in my experience and believed I was worth considering.

2. I don't put my life on hold. I continue applying for other opportunities, keep learning, and stay productive. One interview opportunity should never become your only hope.

3. I replay the interview to learn, not to punish myself. I ask, "What did I do well? What can I improve next time?" Every interview teaches me something.

4. I pray, then I let go. Once I've done my best, I leave the outcome in God's hands. Worry has never changed anything, not even an interview result, but peace has helped me stay ready for whatever comes next.

One quote that has always stayed with me in those moments is the famous "What is meant for you will not pass you by." or "Do your best, then let God do the rest."

Whether the answer is "Yes", "No", or "Not yet", I always believe every interview is moving me closer to where I'm supposed to be.

So if you're currently waiting to hear back after a final interview, don't let anxiety steal your joy. The waiting season is also part of the journey. Keep growing. Keep preparing. Keep believing. Your value is not determined by one interview, one recruiter, or one hiring decision. Sometimes the opportunity you're waiting for is also waiting for the right time.
