🔍 Crystal Palace target Nigerian defender Nwaiwu to replace Lacroix

Crystal Palace have shortlisted Nigerian centre-back Chibuike Nwaiwu as a potential replacement for Maxence Lacroix, who is on the verge of joining Chelsea in a £52 million deal, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

With Lacroix's departure from Selhurst Park appearing imminent, Palace are reportedly exploring defensive reinforcements — and Nwaiwu has emerged as a candidate to fill the void at the back.
