Commercialisation of Women's Bodies

The commercialisation of women's bodies has been going on for a long time, and it is both disturbing and absurd.

People often use women as advertising tools in pictures, videos, audio, and even paintings because they believe it is the most effective bait to attract customers and boost sales.

While driving to work today, I passed a newly opened car wash, but the concept they used didn't sit well with me. They had a wall painting of a half-naked woman washing a car and it made me wonder. when did women start washing cars in this part of the country? Even if women are now in the car wash business, do they wash cars dressed like that?

Must women's bodies be commodified all the time? Is nudity the best form of advertisement?

As much as the demeanor of some women may suggest that they use their bodies to make money, that should not justify advertisements being centred on the objectification of women's bodies.
