🐖Pig Breeding Tip: When to Wean Piglets
What is Weaning?
Separating piglets from the sow so they start eating solid feed independently.
🐖Wean your piglets at 6–8 weeks for maximum growth and better mother recovery.
Wean Too early (before 6 weeks) and this will cause Weak piglets & high mortality
Too late (after 8 weeks) → Stress on the sow & slower next litter
Proper weaning timing = Faster weight gain + More litters per year = More profit! 🤑
