This is my thought.
I know many people disagree with this saying, but I believe in some situations, it is true.
The first person to discover an idea, register a business, invent a product, own a property, or secure a legal right often has an advantage that deserves protection. Society even recognizes this through patents, copyrights, land titles, and trademarks.

Being first may not guarantee success forever, but it often establishes legitimate ownership. Others can improve on what you started, but they cannot erase the fact that you were the pioneer.
So while being first is not everything, let's not pretend it means nothing.

In many cases, the first to get it is the rightful owner. The challenge is not just getting it first, but protecting it, growing it, and keeping its value.
