The lesson from the recent public endorsement of and loyalty to the Wike-led Rainbow Coalition political family by Gov Sim Fubara is that no one should sacrifice his relationship with friends and neighbors because of loyalty to politicians, at least the Nigerian variants. They're not guided by any ideology beyond their personal and immediate needs.

Fubara has casually thrown under the bus all his loyalists who fought the Wike camp while their selfish political differences lasted. Left high and dry they must be wondering if they've been dreaming.
